These Alloy 20 Slip on Flanges are stabilized with Columbium to minimize carbide precipitation during welding. These Flanges are particularly excelled in resisting corrosion into hot sulfuric acids compared to conventional stainless steels. They have excellent resistance to general pitting, corrosion and crevice corrosion in chemicals containing sulphuric, chlorides, phosphoric, and nitric acids. These Flanges are resistant to pitting and chloride ion corrosion due to involvement of copper it protects these flanges from sulfuric acid. These flanges are weldable using various welding methods at moderate temperatures.
